Abstract [eng] Waste Management Organization - is a complex, dynamic system, characterized by high levels of certain types of waste quantity and processing model selection. This paper describes the waste management organization in district of Radviliskis. Organization includes waste items (waste sorting at source, collection and transport, use and disposal), the participants (holders of waste, the management authority), their mutual relations and communication with the various environmental components. Discusses four models of waste management, legal acts regulating the management of waste and the regional waste management systems in organizational decisions. The aim - to analyze the waste management organization theoretical perspective and assess its condition in district of Radviliskis. Research methods: a systematic literature and a comparative analysis has been applied, the examination of the waste management problems of the organization in the context of sustainable development and waste management models. The European Union and the Lithuanian Republic legal acts of content analysis. The method has access to the basic regulations and regulatory aspects. Population anonymous written questionnaire. Expert evaluation is to say investigated staffers structured interviews. Quantitative and qualitative methods of data processing: analysis of standard computer programs Excel and SPSS, data interpretation and generalization. Proved formulated research hypotheses: H1: 50 percent. residents are satisfied with the waste management system of the organization in district of Radviliskis H2: 50 percent. population in district of Radviliškis knows how waste should be disposed.
