Abstract [eng] Knowledge about career is very important for teenagers. The preparation for career is based on pupils‘ understanding and aims of career become more and more legal. This period we may named like the end of „everywhere and every time“ and teenagers want to know information about professions and career. These remarks become more clear and clear. We all are surrounded by possibilities and we can‘t be professionals at many professions, every body have to choose one way, to decide what he or she wants to do in live. Pupils have to choose one vector and to give much attention to one subject and less attention to other. To choose right way isn‘t easy because of possibilities and suggestions. Various subjects have been influencing on decision. At this period, when Lithuania is on market way and citizens live with idea about integration into EU, the youth‘ values, needs, possibilities are changing. According to these reasons we can say- the vectors influenced on decision when pupils choose profession are the most important for career in future. The are discussions and analysis what influenced on pupils from higher forms when they have to choose profession. There are science literature, questionable, statistic facts in this theme. For confirmation or denial a hypothesis about social and psychological vectors influencing on career choosing was done empirical analysis. The empirical analysis let to know that pupils, who choose the profession, believe that they wile have permanent job with high salary. The pupils also admit satisfaction with job, they want to have heavy ground under the feet and to realize their abilities. The youth needs are: to learn money, adapting with environment, to satisfy needs. The range of vectors show us that the main positions when students choose profession one: parents cultural and social occupation and parents professions. Very important are individual needs, personal health and psychological possibilities, and creative activity, art, communicative achievements, practical activity, personal values and emotional correlation with profession.
