Abstract [eng] Patients who suffered from a severe form of Covid-19 infection and were subjected to the ECMO system have not only physical residual effects, but also psychological ones. It is known what physical difficulties such patients go through when they return to their daily lives, but there is a lack of research that shows their psychological well-being. The purpose of the study is to determine the psychological well-being of Covid-19 patients who were treated with the ECMO system. Patients of the Santaros Clinic of the Vilnius University Hospital, who suffered from Covid-19 and were treated with the ECMO system, participated in the study. Subjects' psychological well-being was assessed at least 6 months after ECMO treatment. A total of 10 patients participated in the study. Psychological well-being (LPGS), hospital anxiety and depression (HAD), well-being index WHO-5 and quality of life (SF-36) scales were used for the study. The results showed that patients who suffered from a severe form of Covid-19 infection and received the ECMO system had high psychological well-being, did not experience clinically significant depression or anxiety, and had a higher than average quality of life.
