Dynamic environment, competition, changes in work processes, introduction of new technologies in the market, which have the highest environmental requirements due to the work and conditions of new employees, not only help to work efficiently, but can also stimulate the growth of employees due to job loss or changed working conditions. Research reveals that insecurity is one of the strongest sources of employee stress, so it is relevant to analyze its expression and its impact of employees on burnout and work engagement. Leadership is one of the most important factors affecting work processes, employee motivation, well-being, and performance, so it is relevant to examine leadership for employee job insecurity, burnout, and work engagement. Ethical leadership is not yet a widely studied type of leadership, so the aim of the work is to examine the connections between ethical leadership, employee insecurity about work, burnout and work engagement. The study involved 202 participants, of which 80.2 percent were women, 84.7 percent had higher education, and 71.3 percent were specialists. Research methods: the survey was conducted online, the participants filled out a questionnaire consisting of demographic questions, scales of ethical leadership, qualitative and quantitative job insecurity, burnout and work engagement. Results: employees who value their manager's ethical leadership highly, feel less qualitative and quantitative job insecurity, value their burnout and are more engaged at work; qualitative job insecurity mediates the relationship between ethical leadership and burnout and engagement; quantitative job insecurity mediates the relationship of ethical leadership only with work engagement. Keywords: ethical leadership, psychological insecurity about work, burnout, work engagement.
