This master’s thesis analyses the progression of Alzheimer’s disease based on mathematical modelling. The paper presents the Smoluchovski equation, adapted for the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, and the mathematical model of this equation. The paper presents a simpli ed macroscopic mathematical model for studying the Amyloid Aβ cascade hypothesis and analyses the progression of Alzheimer’s dise- ase based on this hypothesis. |
