Abstract [eng] |
The thesis consists of an introduction, literature review, research methodology, conclusions, list of references and appendix. The aim of the Master's thesis is to determine the impact of the adoption of QMS (quality management system) and its principles according to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 on the perceived benefits of employees in manufacturing organisations. The methods used in the work are a scientific literature review to analyse the evolution of QMS, the motives for its adoption and the benefits that organisations gain from the adoption of QMS. A quantitative empirical study was chosen to conduct the research. A questionnaire survey was used to collect the data. A convenience sample method was used to select the manufacturing organisations that have implemented QMS ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements. The respondents were selected from employees working in managerial or administrative positions in these manufacturing organisations. The quantitative survey rezults were processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS data analysis programs. The work consists of three parts. The first part includes a literature review on the evolution of QMS, the motivations for implementing it, an analysis of QMS and its principles and benefits for organisations. The second part covers the methodology of the empirical study, the research instruments and the research process. The third part presents the results of the empirical research, conclusions and recommendations. A review of the scientific literature shows that QMS has evolved over time into a distinct modern system with a set of tools and techniques that ensure QMS management in organisations, and that the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 QMS standard have become one of the most important quality assurance programmes. The development of QMS in manufacturing organisations requires additional human and financial resources, so it is normal for every organisation to expect a return on investment and practical benefits from the implementation of QMS. However, it should not be forgotten that in order for the implemented system to function properly and provide tangible benefits to all stakeholders, including organisation's employees, the principles, methods and requirements of the system must be integrated into the organisation's daily activities, its culture, and constantly monitored and improved, and its importance continuously emphasised by top-level management. The obtained data of the author's research were processed using IBM SPSS statistics program. The linear regression analysis showed that one hypothesis was supported and the other was rejected - the adoption of QMS principles does not affect employees' perceived value in the organisation. This attitude may be due to the fact that QMS principles in organizations are not integrated into daily activities and are not felt or affecting the work of ordinary employees. The hypothesis that production employees perceive that the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 requirements in the organisation has a positive impact on the organisation's benefit was confirmed, therefore the implementation of the QMS requirements of ISO 9001:2015 in organisations is understood and felt by all employees in the organisation, as the requirements are integrated into the organisation's daily activities. |
