Abstract [eng] IMPACT OF LEAN METHODS' APPLICATION ON EMPLOYEE JOB SATISFACTION Evelina Šilanskienė Master's thesis Quality Management master study program Vilnius University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Supervisor – Asst. prof. Darius Ruzele Vilnius, 2023 SUMMARY The master's thesis consists of 83 pages, 22 tables, 19 figures, 79 literature sources, 2 appendices. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, conclusions and proposals, literature and sources, a summary (in Lithuanian and English) and a list of appendices. The aim of the master's thesis is to determine the influence of the application of Lean methods on employee job satisfaction. The literature review revealed the concept of job satisfaction and its determinants, the concept of Lean management system and Lean methods, as well as the influence of Lean methods on employee job satisfaction in the literary context. To achieve the goal of the master's thesis, 15 Lean methods most mentioned in the literature and used in organizations and the short version of the Minnesota job satisfaction questionnaire were selected, and a quantitative survey of a non-probability sample was conducted. The research revealed that organizations are recommended to apply morning staff meetings (Asaichi) and discussion room (Obeya), which have a positive effect on external satisfaction and job satisfaction. It is recommended to apply the Kaizen Teian method, which positively affects internal job satisfaction. It is also recommended that organizations apply soft Lean methods that positively affect internal, external satisfaction and job satisfaction, and the totality of Lean methods that positively affect external satisfaction and job satisfaction.
