57 pages, 20 tables, 16 pictures, 59 references The aim purpose of this research is to examine the influence of internal communication management on the development of employee initiatives by examining the experiences of employees in Fintech companies. The work consists of three main parts:: theoretical exploration of the impact of internal communication processes on employee initiative development, the empirical research methodology, and the findings of the empirical study. The analysis of existing literature reveals that internal communication can be categorized into vertical, horizontal, and informal forms, each of which affects employee initiatives differently. Based on these findings, a research model was constructed, and three hypotheses were formulated to investigate how different types of internal communication (vertical, horizontal, and informal) influence the development of employee initiatives in Lithuanian Fintech companies. The research employed a quantitative approach and involved a questionnaire survey of 147 employees working in Fintech companies. After analyzing the survey results, two hypotheses were confirmed, indicating that both vertical and horizontal communication have an impact on the expression of employee initiatives. However, the study did not establish a significant effect of informal communication on initiative development. To summarize the findings of this Master's thesis, it can be concluded that internal communication plays a crucial role for employees, as well-structured communication processes, both vertically and horizontally, contribute to employees' well-being and their ability to express initiatives. In order to enhance internal communication processes and empower employees to take initiatives, it is recommended that companies regularly conduct internal surveys tailored to their specific needs to evaluate the impact of internal communication on employees' initiative expression and identify areas that require improvement. |
