| Abstract [eng] |
The thesis analyzes the influence of globalization on carbon dioxide emissions in Lithuania over the period 1995-2019, testing the Environmental Kuznets Curve Hypothesis. While it was confirmed that globalization and economic growth increase CO2 emissions in Lithuania, trade opennes does not have any significant impact on emissions. The EKC hypothesis was not supported in Lithuania. |
