Abstract [eng] Aim of the study: to determine the relationships between hand motor function, subjective well-being and pain factors in the presence of the rotator cuff pathologies. Tasks of work: 1.Based on selected scientific articles, to review the features of the motor function of the hand and functioning in daily activities in the presence of the rotator cuff pathology. 2.Based on selected scientific articles, to analyze subjective well-being experiences in the presence of the rotator cuff pathology. 3.Based on selected scientific articles, to review the experience of perceived pain in the presence of the rotator cuff pathology. 4.Based on selected scientific articles, to evaluate the influence of hand motor function, subjective well-being and factors of pain in patients who have experienced rotator cuff pathology. Methodology and investigation: To write a systematic literature review, the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses) requirements were followed. The search for scientific articles was carried out by one researcher in PubMed and Web of Science databases, according to the adapted search strategy. Articles were searched based on the first studies publication date, which had to correspond to the years 2014-2023. According to the keywords combinations, 1194 publications were obtained, which participated in the selection of articles according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the systematic literature review, and of which 12 publications were included in the systematic literature review. Results: In order to provide analysis of the obtained results, a table was created, which contains information about the analyzed indicators, the averages and standard deviations, median or coefficients of the evaluation indicators presented in the studies comparing the groups before and after of a certain intervention. Statistical significance was assessed both within and between groups. It was observed that when analyzing individual changes in factors, motor function and pain tend to recover after the intervention after a maximum of three months (p values 0.000*, 0.005*, <0.001*), but the subsequent recovery of hand motor function and pain is significantly influenced by psycho-emotional factors related to subjective well-being. Conclusions: 1.According to the data of the systematic literature review, the most intensive recovery of the hand motor function lasts up to three months, so a continuous and complex rehabilitation program, inclusion in daily activities are vital, that consistent recovery would take place even in long-term, in order to avoid more frequent injuries of the dominant hand, increased shoulder stiffness, muscle atrophy, reduced range of motion, in rotator cuff pathology. 2.The latest research shows that after experiencing a rotator cuff injury, menial assessment of subjective well-being is observed in the areas of lower psycho-emotional condition, frequency of depression and anxiety symptoms. This prolongs the period of recovery, leads to decreased indicators of health-related quality of life and sleep. 3.Taking into account the results of the latest research, pain has an unequivocally negative effect on recovery mechanisms, and forms the emergence of kinesiphobia. Effective results and successful recovery are determined by the measures applied at the beginning of rehabilitation, which reduce the negative experience of pain, paying more attention to pain management education and reducing kinesiphobia. 4.Scientific findings allow us to conclude that subjective well-being experiences are significantly related to the recovery of the hand function and the pain experience. When faced with significantly greater experiences of negative subjective well-being, such as fear of movement, pain catastrophizing, anxiety, depression, stress, or negative emotional state, there is a significant subsequent improvements in hand motor function and pain outcomes is observed only after a year.
