Abstract [eng] The farm of protected areas, recreation and cultural use depends on planning the regulative plans. The isle of Rusne differ in variety and in abundance of registrated birds in surrounding areas. Though it is the biggest island in Lithuania, the isle of Rusne forms just 2.3 % part of The Nemunas delta. This island as the very dinamic and sensitive ecosystem is very meaningful to the ecology nationally and internationally. This area gets in to the international ecological net Natura 2000. 29 species of birds are written in the list of the Birds direktive‘s I suplement. 37 species of birds are written in the list of the Lithuanian Red Book. In oder to keep or make a better ecological situation in the isle of Rusne, it is necessarily to prepare an environmental management plan. Ecological evaluatio is required for setting the value of the protected area. By stated quantitative and qualitative criterias and by ornithological point the most valuable areas in the isle of Rusne are: the pond of pisciculture, polders of Vorusne and Uostadvaris. The most important attention must be paid for their protection. Different native and antropogenic forces, which negatively influence protected birds populations and lodgment, operate in these areas. The most imoprtant attention preparing common regulative recommendations in the isle of Rusne must be pointed toextensive economic activities: keeping and preserving existing worth of the biological variety.
