The main purpose of this master thesis is to determine the impact of corporate social responsibility on turnover intention of different generation, when this relationship is moderated by different generations of employee. The final master's thesis consists of 4 parts; the first part analyzes the scientific literature, the second part presents the research methodology, the third part describes the research and its results, and the fourth part presents conclusions and recommendations. The literature review analyze the concepts of constructs of corporate social responsibility, employee engagement, and turnover intention. The development of the phenomenon of corporate social responsibility is reviewed. Theoretical approaches to employee engagement, categories and levels of employee engagement in the organization are also analyzed. Review factors, which cause the impact of employee turnover intention. Various employee characteristics are also analyzed. The performed research surveyed 579 employees of different ages, who were later assigned to the respective generation based on the analysis of literature. Three research hypotheses have been put forward, the instruments of corporate social responsibility, employee engagement, and turnover intention research have been selected, the measures of statistical data processing have been described and the research model has been presented. There has been an empirical study of corporate social responsibility, which depends on the turnover intention of different generations, mediating employee engagement. The results of the study show, that employee engagement is mediating relationship between corporate social responsibility and turnover intention. The study also found a moderately effective relationship between corporate social responsibility and employee turnover intention. It has been observed that corporate social responsibility has the strongest impact on the turnover intention of generation Z employees. Social responsibility has a similar effect on the turnover intention of X and Y generations to retire, and it can be seen, that the turnover intention decreases with a high assessment of corporate social responsibility. Corporate social responsibility does not matter to turnover intention of the baby boomers. |
