Abstract [eng] THE INFLUENCE OF AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP, TEAM CLIMATE AND TRUST IN LEADER ON CONFORMITY IN ORGANIZATIONS: A MODERATED MEDIATION MODEL 95 pages, 17 charts, 5 pictures. The main purpose of this master thesis is to determine the effect that Authentic Leadership, Team Climate and Trust in Leader has on Conformity by conducting an empirical study. The work consists of three main parts: the analysis of literature, the research methodology and the analysis of the empirical study results. The literature analysis examines and defines the concepts of Conformity, Authentic Leadership, Team Climate and Trust in Leader. The author explores the available scientific research to provide some insight about the influence that these concepts have on workers, teams, organizations and performance, further investigating the described possible ties between the concepts themselves. A conceptual model of moderated mediation is introduced, where the impact of Authentic Leadership on Conformity is mediated by Team Climate while the direct and indirect effect is moderated by Trust in Leader. A questionnaire was prepared and a survey of Lithuanian workers was conducted to collect the data needed for the research. Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was used to determine the reliability of the questionnaire, a value higher than 0,7 confirmed the validity. Skewness and kurtosis measures displayed a normal distribution of the data. SPSS programme batch was used to statistically process the results of the research. For the moderated mediation PROCESS v3.5 by Andrew F. Hayes was utilized. The empirical study indicates that Authentic Leadership is positively related to Team Climate, however Trust in Leader does not moderate this path. Furthermore the research shows that Authentic Leadership has a positive direct effect on Conformity in cases where Trust in Leader levels are low. In cases where Trust in Leader levels are moderate or high, Authentic Leadership does not have a statistically significant effect on Conformity. Statistical analysis showed that a moderated mediation where Authentic Leadership influences Conformity through Team Climate while the path between Authentic Leadership and Team Climate is moderated by Trust in Leader is not statistically significant, in other words the moderated mediation does not exist. Nevertheless a statistical analysis of an adjusted model indicates that Authentic Leadership has an indirect negative effect on Conformity through Team Climate.
