The main subject of this market thesis is the analysis of the IPO market in the United States of America. At the beginning, the author first analyzes different macroeconomic factors that are impacting both capital markets as well as IPO market. The author analyzes different previous researches, how different authors approach the same subject, how the US IPO market changed over the years as well as seeks to identify main factors impacting the US IPO market. Later on in the thesis, author characterizes main points of the research: what methods were used, how the research was approached as well as identifying main factors impact the IPO market. After the methodology section, the author performs a research using a few different methods, such as graphical and statistical analysis as well as least square method. The research seeks to identify main factors impacting the US IPO market as well as IPO return on the 1st day in the market. Lastly, the thesis concludes with recommendations and conclusions after the research. |
