Abstract [eng] |
The work consists of 60 pages, 22 tables and 7 figures. The main goal of the work is to assess the supply chain management maturity of Lithuanian manufacturing companies. In order to achieve the goal, tasks are set to be answered throughout the work. The work consists of three parts (systematic literature analysis, research methodology, analysis of empirical research results), conclusions and suggestions. During the literature analysis, the concepts of business process management and supply chain management maturity are clarified. Also, a theoretical model of supply chain management maturity is formed, which is used in the form of a research instrument and further research. In order to assess the maturity of supply chain management from a production point of view, a qualitative study was chosen, i.e. semi-structured interviews with individual experts. During the interviews, 11 experts representing various manufacturing industry organizations throughout Lithuania were interviewed. The study identified the importance of identifying supply chain management maturity, the challenges, and opportunities to move toward better levels of supply chain management maturity. Also, the investigation has shown that the supply chain management maturity of the type of organizations under investigation is interconnected, i. 4 maturity levels. Nevertheless, it has emerged that the components of supply chain management maturity are at different levels. At the end of the work there is an analysis proposal, the conclusions of the work and the main points of the literature and the results of the research. |
