Abstract [eng] 74 pages, 13 chartds and 7 pictures The aim of the master's thesis is to analyze how Vilnius University faculties are using their students‘ feedback and to anticipate key areas for improvement and make recommendations for a way of using students‘ feedback. Scientific problem - There is a wealth of information in the scientific literature on the benefits of students‘ feedback (Camarata & Slieman, 2020; Henderson, Ryan, et al., 2019; Krammer et al., 2019; Richman et al., 2019). It is well known that feedback can provide a lot of information about the strengths and weaknesses of a study. However, in order for students‘ feedback to provide benefits, it must be used (Winstone et al., 2017). Although the benefits of feedback have been extensively studied in the scientific literature, little information is available on how to use students‘ feedback. So the main problem is that there is little research in the scientific literature on the use of students‘ feedback and although many higher education institutions collect feedback and know the benefits of students‘ feedback, they do not know how to use it effectively. Tasks of the master's thesis: to define the concept of feedback in the context of higher education; to analyze the feedback systems of the best universities in the world and the best ways of using students‘ feedback; to analyze the students‘ feedback system of Vilnius University and the documents defining it; to conduct an interview with the Vice-Deans of Studies of Vilnius University faculties and to find out how the faculties use students‘ feedback; to make recommendations on how students‘ feedback can be used more effectively. Working methods: analysis of scientific literature, analysis of the good practices of foreign universities in collecting and using students‘ feedback, analysis of the documents defining the students‘ feedback system in Vilnius University, qualitative research - Vice-Deans of Studies of Vilnius University interviews. The first chapter of the master‘s thesis is about the concept of the feedback in higher education, based on the scientific literature. This concept is evaluated through an analysis of the scientific literature, higher education stakeholders, good practices in foreign universities using students‘ feedback and Vilnius University documents that define the use of students‘ feedback. The second chapter discusses a qualitative study that was conducted to find out how university faculties use student feedback. The use of student feedback in university faculties is discussed from 3 perspectives: the use of student feedback in the assessment of teachers, the use of student feedback in the assessment of study subjects (modules) and the publication of results to students that were achieved by using students‘ feedback.
