During changes in the world and the labor market it is important to analyze the factors that affect the well-being and efficiency of employees, and at the same time the success of the organization. The aim of the study is to identify the links between transformational leadership, employee well-being, engagement and commitment to the organization. The study included 178 subjects (113 women, 65 men) ranging in age from 20 to 66 years, and work experience ranging from 1 to 37 years. Most of the respondents have higher education (82.6%) and hold non-managerial positions (77%). The chosen research method is a survey. Respondents were asked to complete a survey questionnaire that included transformational leadership style scale, employee well-being scale, work engagement and commitment to the organization scale. The results of the study indicated that transformational leadership provides for employee well-being, workplace well-being when work engagement and commitment to the organization are mediators. Transformational leadership, meanwhile, directly forecasts psychological well-being when work engagement and commitment to the organization are not mediators. Transformational leadership also provides for life well-being through an intermediate variable – work engagement. |
