Abstract [eng] The aim of this study is to evaluate the significance of transformational leadership and leader – member exchange for employee work engagement, organizational commitment and citizenship behaviour. In the study participated 180 respondents. All study participants were required to complete a questionnaire consisting of transformational leadership, leader – member exchange, organizational commitment, work engagement and citizenship behaviour questionnaires, and questions about the socio-demographic characteristics. Transformational leadership has been found to be associated with work engagement, organizational commitment and citizenship behaviour. The results also showed that the leader – member exchange is related to work engagement, organizational commitment and citizenship behaviour. The analysis showed that work engagement acts as a mediator in the relationship between transformational leadership, leader – member exchange with organizational commitment and citizenship behaviour.
