Abstract [eng] The study presents prognostic values between the psychological well-being of working people, psychosocial working conditions, perfectionism, optimism and sleep difficulties. Four questions are asked about the prognosis of psychological well-being: "What work factors predict the well-being of employees?"; "Does employee perfectionism predict well-being after considering the work environment?"; "Does optimism predict well-being, given the effect of the link between the work environment and perfectionism?"; "Do sleep difficulties make it possible to predict the well-being of employees, taking into account the relationship between the work environment, perfectionism and optimism?". The study involved 163 respondents, including 121 women and 42 men, ranging in age from 21 to 59 years. The questionnaires used in the study were: The Five Well-Being Index (WHO-5), HSE Management Standards Indicator Tool, Almost Perfect Scale-Revised (APS-R), Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R), Short Sleep Difficulty Scale (Trumpoji miego sunkumų skalė – TMSS). The obtained results showed that lower work demands and more thorough informing of the employee about the changes predict a good psychological well-being of the employees. It has also been observed that the dimension of high standards of perfectionism contributes to the well-being of workers and that non-compliance with their own standards damages it. Optimism has been found to improve the well-being of even individuals with negative perfectionism, regardless of the work environment, and the lack of sleep difficulties is positively related to the well-being of workers.
