Abstract [eng] Author: Deimantė Roličiūtė Title: Radiological qualitative and quantitative assessment of interstitial lung injury associated with systemic connective tissue diseases Aim: To analyze radiological qualitative and quantitative assessment of interstitial lung injury associated with systemic connective tissue diseases, describe the clinical case using radiological evaluation program WEASIS DICOM viewer. Objectives: 1. To analyze literature about coherence of systemic connective tissue diseases with interstitial lung diseases, evaluate radiological qualitative and quantitative diagnostic possibilities. 2. Using radiological image evaluation program WEASIS DICOM viewer analyze computer tomography images of interstitial lung disease induced by systemic sclerosis. Conclusion: Interstitial lung damage caused by systemic connective tissue diseases is life threatening complication. This condition has a negative impact on quality of life and shortens life expectancy. It is important to diagnose disease at an early stage. Interstitial lung diseases can be accurately diagnosed by high – resolution computer tomography imaging. Also technology allows to monitor progression of the disease. In this clinical case computer tomography images were analyzed using WEASIS DICOM viewer program and efficacy of tocilizumab treating interstitial lung diseases caused by systemic sclerosis was confirmed.
