This Master's thesis analyzes the problems of providing cultural services during the COVID-19 pandemic in Radviliškis district municipality, including specific aspects of providing cultural services in the conditions of uncertainty. In order to unfold the research problem, the aim of the work was forrmulated - after analyzing the concept and features of providing cultural services in conditions of uncertainty and revealing the situation and problems of providing cultural services in Radviliškis district municipality during the COVID-19 pandemic, to provide directions for improving the provision of cultural services under uncertain conditions. The structure of the final work consists of 3 main parts: theoretical, methodological and empirical. The theoretical part aims to present the concept and features of the provision of cultural services under conditions of uncertainty, which are presented in the first part of the master 's thesis and which consists of seven chapters and subsections. The second part of the work presents the chosen research methodology and substantiates the research instruments. For the empirical research qualitative and the following methods were chosen: analysis of scientific literature and other sources, analysis of legal acts and strategic (national and local) documents regulating the activities of municipal and cultural institutions, content analysis of documents and semi-structured interviews. The results of the analysis of the research data revealed that cultural institutions faced considerable challenges in providing services under conditions of uncertainty: how to provide services online, difficulties in organizing the provision of cultural services, lack of ICT competencies, infrastructure of cultural institutions: provision of cultural institutions with ICT tools, high-quality internet connection. Based on the results of the research carried out in the work, recommendations for improving the quality of the organization of the provision of cultural services were formed by preparing a program for the improvement of the organization of cultural services. It will allow to solve problems more effectively and organize work during the crisis. |
