In today’s world of technology and constant change, the need for change management has emerged. One of the most common and proven tools for change management is project management, which changes and evolves project management itself, taking on new forms and management models. As more and more organizations move to a matrix and partial matrix governance structures, the search for and application of new leadership models is also emerging. In this way, as organizations change structures, horizontal governance and one of its forms of leadership enable it. After successful application in organizational management models, empowerment is extended to projects that often have matrix management. Accordingly, it becomes essential to determine when under what circumstances to use empowerment and what value it creates during the project. |
