The purpose of Master‘s Thesis – to reveal what impact does organizational culture on employees work engagement in woodworking manufacturing companies in Lithuania. Used research methods: Systematic analysis and synthesis of scientific literature in English and Lithuanian. Empirical research: a structured questionnaire survey. Statistical analysis of the survey data was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics (Statistical Package For Social Sciences) 26.0 software package. Microsoft Office Excel (2013) was used for visual presentation of data. Cronbach's Alpha method used for checking the internal consistency and reliability of scales. Estimation of data normality distribution - Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Shapiro - Wilk tests, histograms, Q-Q plots graphs. The following statistical methods were used to determine the relationships and impact of the variables: 1) Pearson correlation - the relationships between the variables; 2) Linear regression analysis and Multiple linear regression analysis - measurement of impact between variables; 3) Independent samples T-test, One-Way ANOVA – measuring demographic characteristics impact on variables. The Master's Thesis consists of 3 parts. The first part presents analysis of the literature: reveals the concept of organizational culture, identifies dimensions of organizational culture, also differences and similarities, as well it is described the concept of employee work engagament and the factors influencing it. The first part concludes ascertaining links between organizational culture and employees work engagament. In the second part it is presented overview and statistics of the Lithuanian woodworking sector, theoretical conceptual model of the research, it is drew up the research goals, objectives and hypotheses, survey respondents and sample, constructs used in the questionnaire survey, listed research methods. The third part reveals the results of the research, introduces the discussion and comparison reasearch results with other scientific literature sources. In the conclusions it is a brief presentation of the literature analysis, the main results of the empirical author's research. In recommendations part it is identified key insights, practical suggestions and advice for woodworking manufacturing industry ccompanies managers, human resource management professionals how to develop and strengthen the organizational culture to encourage employees to be higher work engaged. |
