With the increasing scale of urbanization and environmental pollution, recreation and recreation in the natural environment is becoming the main source of human recovery. The new general plan of the Republic of Lithuania mentions the establishment of recreational parks as a future aspiration for the establishment of specialized parks, thus complementing the system of state parks, therefore it is necessary to start analyzing the possibilities of establishing recreational parks at the local level. In this work, an attempt was made to apply the current principles and rules of protected areas and recreational planning and to plan a recreational park in an unusual type of landscape – a forested swampy landscape and thus reveal its uniqueness and suitability for recreation. The aim of this work is to contribute to the development of recreational park establishment opportunities in Lithuania. In order to achieve the goal of the work, tasks were set, which include the analysis of recreational planning experience in the world and Lithuania, the concepts of recreation, recreational potential and recreational park were reviewed, preconditions for development of recreational potential in forested wetland landscape planning schemes and the possibilities of establishing a perspective forested wetland recreation park have been identified and analyzed. The analysis of the territory was performed not only from literature sources and maps, but also after going to the territory and capturing it in photos. The work presents the analyzed territory of a promising forested wetland recreation park and proposes concrete solutions for park planning, which are presented in the charts, the preconditions for the establishment of a promising forested wetland recreational park and a summary of the possibilities for establishing a recreational park. |
