| Abstract [eng] |
This work aims to compare 144 terms relevant to the Austrian, German and Lithuanian criminal procedure in regards to its equivalence. Even though the official language between Austria and Germany is German and – due to the European integration- most terms are adjusted to each other, there is not always equivalence amongst the them. It is not surprising that said terms between Austria/ Germany and Lithuania are sometimes used differently i.e. its terminological equivalence does not exist (to a higher scale between Austria and Germany), since the history of Lithuania developed differently to its neighbour countries (fall of the soviet union). The author intents to present a translation tool to the interested professional and/or student. |
