The present study examined wether meaningful work may have positive influence on work-home interaction. More importantly, the investigation on work engagement as a moderator was performed in order to understand it‘s importance in relationship between meaningful work and positive work-home interaction. Longitudinal research was performed collecting data from 100 respondents recruited from one public service organisation. Analyses showed that one aspect of meaningful work – meaning making through work, positively related to work-home interaction over time (12 months later). Additionally, work engagement moderated relationship between meaningful work and positive work-home interaction. It was also found that positive work-home interaction predicted work satisfaction. |
