Abstract [eng] Relationships between organizational climate, empowering leadership and employee psychological empowerment with job performance and intention to leave the organization The purpose of the study is to identify relationships between organizational climate, empowering leadership and employee psychological empowerment with job performance and intention to leave the organization. The study involved 287 participants from public and private business sectors. Participants were asked to complete the questionnaire about psychological empowerment, organizational climate, empowering leadership, job performance, intention to leave the organization and socio-demographic characteristics. The study identified the direct prognostic effects of specific dimensions of psychological empowerment and organizational climate on job performance and intention to leave the organization. Empowering leadership does not predict intention to leave the organization behaviour, however job performance has been found to be affected directly and through the mediating effects of psychological empowerment. The specific dimensions of psychological empowerment mediate the specific dimensions of organizational climate in predicting (1) job performance and (2) intention to leave the organization behaviour.
