Analysis of Lithuanian Financial Technology Sector Growth Opportunities The aim of this paper is to analyse and evaluate the opportunities of financial technology sector growth in the Lithuania. The scientific literature analysis, various research methods were used to identify and study the possibilities of sector growth. The work consists of three main parts: scientific literature analysis, empirical research methodology and the empirical data analyse section. Master‘s thesis examines the concept of financial technology, the key elements of the Fintech sector, the models and types of Fintech and highlights the interfaces between Lithuanian financial technology sector and various factors which reflects Fintech level of development in country. The regression model was used to investigate the relationship between the factors of Fintech and foreign direct investments to finance and insurance sector. Collected annual data of period from 2008 to 2018. The result of the test have shown that almost all chosen variables have influence on foreign direct investments to finance and insurance sector. At the end of the paper, conclusions and recommendations are presented as a result of theoretical and empirical analysis. |
