Abstract [eng] 54 pages, 15 pictures, 4 charts, 108 references. The main purpose of this master thesis is to determine the influence of macroeconomic factors (GDP, unemployment rate, inflation rate) on the profitability, solvency and turnover results of companies of three sectors (agricultural, industry, services) in Lithuania. The performed research revealed that if the inflation increases by 1%, the gross profitability ratio of all industry branch companies could be expected to decrease by 0.00427%. If the unemployment rate increases by 1%, the gross profitability ratio of all industry branch companies can be expected to decrease by 0.004%. Also, with a 1% increase in inflation, the overall solvency ratio of all agricultural branch companies can be expected to decrease by 0.145%. With a 1% increase in the unemployment rate, the solvency ratio of all agricultural companies could be expected to decrease by 0.085%. With a 1% increase in GDP, the turnover of assets ratio of all services branch companies can be expected to increase by 0.01%. As the unemployment rate rises by 1%, the solvency ratio of all services branch companies can be expected to decrease by 0.007%. Unemployment and inflation rates should be carefully monitored and evaluated periodically, as in recent years we can see downward trend. Noteworthy, the solvency rate of agricultural branch in recent years has the highest growth among the three branches of economy. Due to that, it is recommended to forecast inflation as often as possible, as its impact is twice higher than unemployment. The assets turnover ratio of services branch remains important and requires attention, as it has been growing in recent years and in order to continue to ensure it, periodic changes in GDP must be evaluated.
