Abstract [eng] |
The main purpose of this master thesis is to provide a prioritized set of requirements for an online shop that results in a positive user experience when creating and using a personal account in an online shop. The work consists of three main parts. The first part is a literature analysis. The author presents the meaning of the user experience and the user account, reviews related existing studies, identifies possible factors that contribute to a positive user experience. The second part is the main research and its results. A quantitative survey was used to conduct the main research. 380 people have presented the answers to the prepared structured questionnaire. The main purpose of the questionnaire was to find out which factors contribute to a positive user experience when creating and using a personal account in an internet shop. The results of the research were statistically processed with the SPSS program batch. Regression analysis was used to analyze the results. The performed research revealed that there are 15 statistically important factors which determine a positive user experience when creating and using a personal account. These factors have been changed to the 15 requirements for an online store. The third part is the justifying research – experiment. The author has created a Google Chrome extension which allows to have two different versions of the same internet shop – Pigu.lt. The first version (without extension) – has all the requirements defined in the main research. The second version (with extension enabled) – eliminates all requirements defined. The participants in the experiment evaluated their experience in both cases. The results of the experiment allowed to substantiate the validity of the requirements identified in the main study and to formulate other conclusions. At the end of the master's thesis are given conclusions and recommendations. The conclusions and recommendations summarize the main concepts of literature analysis as well as the results of the performed researches. |
