The main purpose of this master thesis analyze and evaluate business evaluation approaches, their advantages, disadvantages, as well as apply opportunities. Based on the theoretical analysis, to calculate the business value of Pieno Žvaigždės AB, to evaluate the profit and market approach method, to determine the evaluation of companies with COVID - 19 virus. The work consist of three main parts: analysis of literature, methodology, research and its results and conclusion. The first part discusses the definitions, cases and goals related to business valuation provided by various Lithuanian and foreign authors. It also talks about the principles, approaches and methods of business evaluation. The evaluation process is discussed, business value factors and their influence on business value determination are analyzed. The second part presents the research plan prepared by the author, and introduces the company's valuation book value, relative coefficients, and discounted cash flow methodology. In the third part, a reasonable evaluation of Pieno Žvaigždės AB is performed after applying the research plan discussed earlier. The conclusion summarizes the main concepts of literature analysis and performed research. In order to investigate the possible impact of the pandemic, the new value of the company was calculated. After estimating the damage of COVID - 19 virus using DCF method, the estimated value of the company is 62,298 thousand. Eur., The value of one share is 1.38 Eur. Compared to the value determined before the coronavirus pandemic, the value of the company decreased by 23%, so it can be said that the pandemic caused by the virus will strongly determine the company's future results and value. |
