Construct Validity of the Comprehensive Assessment of Psychopathic Personality (CAPP–SR), Vilnius, Vilnius University, 2019, 56 There is still no consensus as to what are the main psychopathic traits and which model of psychopathy is the most accurate. This study aims to find out whether the Lithuanian version of CAPP–SR measures construct of psychopathy in the Lithuanian prison population. 166 offenders (19 – 78 years old) from 3 Lithuanian correction institutions filled CAPP–SR and TriPM questionnaires. Data was analyzed using exploratory factor analysis and Spearman’s correlations to evaluate CAPP–SR construct validity. It was found that CAPP–SR has good psychometric characteristics in Lithuanian prison population and links between CAPP–SR, TriPM and PCL:SV. Also links between CAPP–SR and OASsys were found. Results show that CAPP–SR has good construct validity. This study is the first study in Lithuania which evaluates CAPP–SR construct validity. |
