Abstract [eng] Giedrius Kalnius. Teacher‘s work engagement: the role of strenght use, job demands, personal and job resources. Vilnius university. Vilnius, 2019, 73 pages. The main purpose of this study was to examine strenght use, job demands, job and personal resources role to teachers work engagement. This study includes 160 teachers. Teacher‘s age was from 21 to 65 years. Strenght use was measured with Strengths Use and Deficit Correction questionnaire (SUDCO) (van Woerkom, 2016a). Work engagement was measured using Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) (Tims et al., 2015). UWES includes work engagement in general and three dimensions: vigor, dedication and absorption. Job demands, job and personal resources were assessed with The Job Demands-Resources Questionnaire (Bakker, 2014). Findings revealed that teacher‘s total work engagement and vigour are predicted by work pressure, strenght use and perceived organizational support for strenght use. Dedication was predicted by work pressure, strenght use, perceived organizational support for strenght use and optimism. Absorption was predicted by strenght use and perceived organizational support for strenght use. Also was found that strenght use are predicted by job resources: autonomy, work feedback, managers support and perceived organizational support for strenght use.
