Abstract [eng] There is a lack of researches about vertical and shared leadership relations with psychological aspects like engagement, perceived job performance, job satisfaction and psychological empowerment. There is no researches about Agile team work or leadership in these teams in Lithuania as well. Therefore this research was aimed to determine the importance of leadership – vertical and shared, to engagement, job performance, job satisfaction in the project and psychological engagement of IT specialists working on software development products in Agile teams. Our survey consisted of these scales: General Transformational Leadership scale, Empowering Leadership scale, Shared Leadership scale, Ultrecht Work Engagement scale, Job Performance scale, Jself developed job satisfaction in project scale and Psychological Empowerment scale. The survey was completed by employees (N = 100) who work in Agile teams on software products in a big international e-commerce company. Results showed that vertical transformational leadership predicts engagement, vertical empowering and shared empowering leadership predicts job performance, shared transformational leadership and shared empowering leadership predicts job satisfaction in the project, vertical transformational, vertical empowering and shared transformational leadership predicted psychological engagement. Psychological engagement was a mediator between vertical empowering leadership and job performance; vertical empowering leadership and job satisfaction in the project.
