Differences between adaptive perfectionists', maladaptive perfectionists' and non-perfectionists' experiences were noticed. Adaptive perfectionists experience perfectionism more positively, they adopted growth mindset, internal locus of controls and experience their parents' support and help. Maladaptive perfectionists experience perfectionism more negatively, they adopted fixed mindset, external locus of controls and lack their parents' involvement. Non-perfectionists experience perfectionism neutrally, they do not characterize themselves by having one kind of mindset, they also adopted both internal and external locus of control and also lack their parents involvement.
