Abstract [eng] Phraseologisms with Names of Insects. This master's thesis analyses 618 Lithuanian phraseologisms with names of insects. All phraseologisms were collected from dictionaries and their electronic versions: “Frazeologijos žodynas” (2001), “Vaizdingieji lietuvių kalbos posakiai“ (2008)“, Palyginimų žodynas“ (2014). The aim of this thesis is to examine phraseologisms with names of insects from semantic and structural points of view. Phraseological application, structural grammatical, lexicographical and semantic research methods were mainly used in order to analyse the collected data.
