| Abstract [eng] |
The present master thesis analyses small and medium-sized business in Lithuania and new EU countries. Theoretical analysis of scientific researches about small and medium-sized business has been performed, concept, classification, the main criteria has been revealed according to which the activity of small and medium-sized business companies may be evaluated and compared. With an attempt to highlight the tendencies of business development in different countries, a comparative analysis of activity of small and medium-sized business of new EU countries has been made, distinguishing the sectors of production, trade and services. The factors which influence change of economic indicators of small and medium-sized business companies in new ES countries has been analyzed. The situation of organization of small and medium-sized business in Lithuania and new EU countries has been disclosed and compared. |
