Abstract [eng] An encouragement of artistic interests and providing of appropriate conditions for its development should valued as an extremely important condition to conduct child’s natural rights. In the context of modern understanding about childhood, a teenager becomes a client of educational services. Correspondence of students’ artistic interests and educational services of theater in school is an existing pedagogical problem. Entity of the research: correspondence of student's artistic interests and educational services of theatre in school. Objective of the research: to inspect the correspondence of students’ artistic interests and educational services of theatre in school. Chief tasks of the research: 1.To analyze theoretical presumptions of students’ (year 9 to 12) artistic interests’ expression by providing educational services of theatre in schools. 2.To reveal the opportunities for educating through theatre by creating appropriate conditions for expression of teenagers’ interests. 3.To investigate how teenagers’ artistic interests are exposed in the context of educating through theatre. There were theoretical (analysis of scientific literature), empirical (a free choice thematic essay of qualitative research and written survey of quantitative research) and statistical (qualitative analysis of data) methods applied to the work. 145 students of Siauliai, year 9 to 12, took part in the survey. 14 teenagers from informal educational school wrote an essay titled ‘Drama Club of My Dreams’. Conclusions: it is purposeful to follow the qualitative triad of educational theatre services whilst analyzing the problem of correspondence, and which is expressed through conditions, activity and results. The study showed that it is the balance between interests and conditions which predetermines the model of educational theatre services. It is important to evaluate motives for student's participation in a theatrical activity, an individual meaning of a theatrical activity, an accomplishment of students’ expectations, and conditions for theatrical education whilst modeling a theatrical activity.
