Abstract [eng] Possibilities to grow layers of promissing electrocatalytic and photocatalytic oxide materials from chemical vapour phase and layers properties were investigated. Deposition of Cd2SnO4 thin films using simple aerosol pyrolysis method was studied for the first time. The influence of various deposition conditions to films properties was established, films electrochemical properties were investigated. Conducting and light transparent crystalline films, containing pure Cd2SnO4 phase and exhibiting high charge carrier concentration and high electron transfer rate in redox systems were prepared. Deposited layers are promising for electrocatalytical applications. Possibilities to grow films of potential photocatalysts InMO4 (M = V, Ta, Nb) and Ni-doped analogues were investigated for the first time using chemical vapour deposition techniques. Influence of various deposition conditions to films crystallinity, elemental and phase composition was investigated, optimum conditions for the growth of crystalline pure phase films were established. Some of the grown layers showed photocatalytic activity under visible and UV light.
