Abstract [eng] In this century of new technologies several foreign clothing designers have created lighting and transforming clothes. This is Lucy McRae and her artful costume “Bubelle“. The costume has LED inside, which shines depending upon the level of the excitement of the owner of the dress, Malmö University, Sweden, „Breaking dress“, Hussein Chalatan, Moritz Waldemeyer „Marriage“ dress, Di Mainstone, „Scorpions“ collection, Di Mainstone, \"Sharewear\" collection, Netherlands designer Stijn Ossevoort created dress „Flare“, which was embroidered by LED bulbs, gaining energy from wind. Inspired by these examples I have created the collection of kinetic light costumes “Electrified“. Models presented in this project of Master's work are of two parts: three kinetic light costumes for women. Forms were made of polyurethane foam. In the frameworks of these dresses the engines were installed which lift up or drop down the lower part of a dress. The lower part of a dress is fastened to the body of a person by a wide 25 cm leather belt with two buckles. This belt is mounted in the framework which is installed in the polyurethane foam. Engines gain electric stream from mounted accumulators; in the upper part of a dress the light-emitting diodes flare in various effects according to the chosen music. The entire course is programmed in the computer micro-schemes, control panels, which are also installed in these dresses. When light-emitting diodes gain some light they simultaneously turn on the programs of all three costumes. Architectural forms, graphics on these dresses and original details responding them give the extraordinary impression for the dresses. While doing this artistic work various sources of literature had been analyzed and various information had been selected. Costumes were presented by the artistic expression, they transform by changing forms, silhouettes, and light - emitting diodes are flaring in various effects changing illuminations. In the technical draft the clothes for models had been created. Materials and accessories had been selected, and then their composition and quantity had been determined. The forms, lifting-up/lowering-down frameworks had been manufactured, mechanisms and engines had been installed, accumulators and light-emitting diodes charged, control modules had been made and programmed, cuttings had been constructed, and finally forms had been sewed. Graphics on these costumes had been done by using thermal film for textile materials. Tall models had been selected for demonstration and film-shooting. The film-shooting and photo-session had been performed. Video clip had been directed and sound-tract had been selected – “AVaspo” song “Electrified”. This clip shall be shown during the presentation of Master’s work as an installation. Collection “Electrified“- is one of my creative experiments, inspired by the interest in the newest trends and technologies of clothing design.
