In conceptual part of master’s work in accordance with scientific sources was done the theoretical analysis of investment, presenting main features of investment alternatives, evaluating their advantages and weaknesses. There was delivered conception of investment and investment alternatives, analysed personal finances management in life cycle. All investment alternatives were parted to traditional and unconventional saving and investing forms. In analytical-research part of master’s work was analyzed statistics and causes of personal investing in various financial instruments in Lithuanian financial market. To evaluate investment return and risk, there were chosen three investment alternatives: bank deposits, mutual funds and Lithuanian pension funds of additional voluntary accumulation. In master’s work author’s opinion, these alternatives are most acceptable and attractive saving and investing forms for a statistical resident. The simulation of generated investment return was performed – the same amount of money was putted into analyzed investments, and it was monitoring the return earned after five years. Taken into consideration of economic boom and recession, there was analyzed what impact it had for the profitability and risk indicators of investment instruments. Also there were developed investment portfolios for persons with different risk tolerance, selected the best investment alternatives. |
