The textbook is measure of communication which reflects not only educational material but also cultural values, norms, public attitudes and stereotypes of gender behavior and images. Children take the standards of female and male behavior, gender roles over their socialization process. Standards indicates the expected division of labor between gender, relationship between members of family, at work and all communication process in gender social life. Men are the dominant gender in textbook illustrations and have positive characteristics, his activities associated with public ownership and power. The most role of men are charismatic, intelligent, relevant and active personality, woman – a „home fire guardian“and fosterer of traditional values. In this way of gender activity sphere differentiate because woman is in home environment and the men is outside the home. The most recurring images of gender are stereotypical – „normal man“, a housewife or beautiful, desirable personality. The only different and non-traditional image of man – the „new man“, but rarely found in textbook illustrations. Children reflect defective stereotyped gender roles and images which limitates the future of personality, professional opportunities, disrupt the communication process between the sexes.
