Abstract [eng] The aim of this research is to evaluate applied physical activity influence on patients independence after leg amputation before rehabilitation, ant the end of rehabilitation and after thirty days after rehabilitation. Achieving set aim the following tasks have been raised: 1.To indentify influence of applied physical activity for patients after leg amputation for stationary and post- stationary rehabilitation. 2.To indentify influence of applied physical activity for patients after leg amputation according to gender. 3.To indentify influence of applied physical activity for patients after leg amputation according to amputation level. The experiment and tests (Bartel, Keitel, Tinnet, Lovet) have been carried out. Patients after leg amputation who arrived to rehabilitation were tested before the rehabilitation, at the end of rehabilitation and after thirty days of it. 50 patients were participating in the research 39 men and 11 women. To be more precise: 33 men with thigh amputation, 6 men with calf amputation also 6 women with thigh amputation and 5 women with calf amputation. Conclusions of the research 1.Programme of applied physical activity made positive influence after leg amputation in stationary period and what is more all test indexes (Barte, Tinnet, Lovet, Keitel) have increased, however, during post-stationary period these indexes were worse. 2.It has been identified that applied physical activity programme did not affect people’s indexes after leg amputation in stationary and after stationary rehabilitation periods due to gender aspect 3. It has been identified that according to the amputation level physical activity programme particularly influenced people after thigh amputation during stationary rehabilitation period and major recrudescence is noticeable in post-stationary period in comparison with people with calf amputation. Still, indexes of people after calf amputation were bigger in all stages, but their variability was not so obvious as after thigh amputation.
