Abstract [eng] The review of constructions of Rolamite type mechanisms (RTM) and Scroller type mechanisms (STM) is presented in this article and given their constructional analysis. Rollers of RTM are wrapped by a flexible band or bands with strain and by big angle and are contacting among themselves only through a flexible band. The Scroller type mechanism consists of several flexible bands, with interference wrapping the same rollers different angle one with respect to the other. The rollers in the STM are kept in place by the force of tension of flexible bands. The devices of RTM and STM have relatively low coefficients of friction and do not require lubricants. Noted that RTM and STM can be without surfaces of directing, i.e without frames. So, it is possible to conclude that mechanisms of type Scroller are modifica¬tion of mechanisms type Rolamite.
