Monopolistic enterprises own the most important branches of the economy and therefore most consumers don‘t go much into details of pricing policies, since many of those items belong to the government market, while the latter may be no more difficult to regulate its member enterprises offering the service prices. Privatization of these enterprises primarily leads to the loss of their control. However, most consumers are concerned about the pricing policy the enterprises will choose but not the internal dealings of the enterprise. The relevance of the research. There are several ways to raise the efficiency of monopolistic enterprises work and to cheapen their services. These ways include demonopolization, restructuring monopolistic enterprises, transferring them into work on a competitive market conditions, as well as the breakdown of the enterprises, separating business units that provide services to the parent companies. This, of course, must be public authorities control, public pressure and the monopolistic enterprises flexibility. The aim of the research is to analyse the transformation of monopolistic enterprise activity to labour on market conditions. The objectives of the research: 1. On the basis of scientific literature, to analyse the concept and the types of monopoly, thei typology in Lithuania and the monopolistic equilibrium. 2. To investigate the macro-environment factors and their influence on the management of organization marketing. 3. To evaluate the examined enterprise on the methods of marketing analysis. 4. To identify the key competitors and to describe their characteristics. 5. To make the survey of staff and managers and to provide the results. Hypothesis. In order to maximize the activity of monopolistic enterprises, it is necessary to bring them closer to competitive market conditions. The results of the research. The investigation followed the last three years of Lithuanian energy industry practice. In the research, the latest scientific resources and publications were used. The results of study data prove the efficiency of monopolistic enterprises activity transformation on competitive market conditions. The results will be useful in further restructuring of the energy economy, separating operating units of the main operator, thus ensuring greater productivity and operational efficiency. JSC TETAS example is the right way to monopolistic enterprises going towards a competitive market. |
