Abstract [eng] The doctoral dissertation „The Longitudinal Study of Biopsychosocial Functions of People with Spinal Cord Injury“ of Biomedical Sciences, Medicine was prepared during 2012–2016 at the Department of Rehabilitation, Physical and Sports Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University. In order to analyse the changes of functional independence, physical activity in daily life and to detect the main functional problems (body functions, activity and participation) of patients with spinal cord injury the scientific – research was carried out during comprehensive primary inpatient rehabilitation and re-rehabilitation inpatient programs in the Centre of Rehabilitation, Physical and Sports Medicine, Vilnius University Hospital Santariskiu clinics. The analyses of consistent patterns of biopsychosocial functions changes in long-term period the subjects were evaluated during camps of independent life skills and recreation in Landscape Therapy and Recreation Centre (Sventoji).
