Abstract [eng] The distributed leadership and it‘s development in Skuodas region schools is analysed in the Master thesis. In order to find out distributed leadership and it‘s development conditions, there was analysed scientific literature, legalisation and other resources. The theoretical part includes two sections: 1) the approach of distributed leadership, including the effectiveness for today schools and for their future; there are presented different distributed leadership models, which are used in European schools.2) After the analysis of distributed leadership development the legalisation in schools, it was found that the strategic documents and legalisation in the local and state level, provides the opportunity to change; leaders and teachers have opportunity to develop competencies, but in order to enable it there is a neccessity to define specific and accurate implementation model, and detailed leadership system. The part of practice context includes quantitative research: people working in Skuodas Schools and participated in „Time for Leaders 2“ project were asked to answer the questionnaire. The data was analysed using SPSS method. The findings: 1) the research hypothesis, that there is approval for distributed leadership development model in Skuodas schools which participated in the „Time for Leaders 2“ project, is confirmed; 2) the suppressor and stimulating factors of the distributed leadership in Skuodas schools; 3) the conditions for the distributed leadership development. A new hypothetical model for distributed leadership development in Skuodas schools was presented after the systematization of research results and with the reference of scientific literature and legalisation.
