Abstract [eng] Master thesis analyses the problem of increase of accessibility of social services, provided for children with disabilities. Children with disabilities are very vulnerable and, in reference to principles of public administration, it is relevant to ensure the provision of public services for this group. The accessibility of social services is determined by the time, place and finances. Frequently, viewpoint of providers and administrators of public services differs from each other. In order to satisfy the needs of customers of social services, it is important to analyse the factors of accessibility of social services and to prepare primary directions for the development. The goal of the paper was to reveal the concept of accessibility of social services provided for children with disabilities in the context of public administration, and to identify the directions for the development in case of Mažeikiai region. Mater thesis consists of introduction, main part, conclusions, recommendations, references and appendixes. Main part consists of three sections. The first section analyses the concept of accessibility of social services provided for children with disabilities in the context of public administration. The second part presents the methodology of the research of accessibility of social services provided for children with disabilities in Mažeikiai region. This section reasons the methodology of research, argues methods of the research, bases instruments, characterizes the sample, presents organization and process of research. The third part presents the results of the research of increase of accessibility of social services, provided for children with disabilities in Mažeikiai region. The research has shown that current accessibility of social services provided for children with disabilities is not sufficient. The accessibility of social services is limited due to the lack of variety of social services, the quickness of their provision and insufficiency of network of service provision. In reference to the results of the research the following directions for the development of accessibility were formulated: to expand the variety of social services with specialized services, to involve parents into the expansion of variety of social services. Apart from this, it is relevant to expand the network of provision of social services.
