Abstract [eng] The objective of this study was to investigate reflection of sward mixture leaves in visible and near infrared wavelengths, when plants grow in different condition (water stress and watering with solutions of different concentration of KNO3 nutrients). The reflection of leaves was measured using photo-electronic registration system with light emitting diodes in four wavelength bands- 470, 525, 660 and 860 nm and CCD color camera for calculation of visible wavelength reflection in images. Our results showed that sward leaves reflection changes with decrease of water content in leaves. The blue color reflection decreases, but red, green and near infrared increase. These changes depend of water decreasing, which supposedly changes chemical processes and chlorophyll synthesis in leaves. The results shows that greatest difference between reflection of plants that were watered only with water and with different concentration of KNO3 nutrients and grown in field condition are on the 5% KNO3 concentration. Differences are in red reflection (0,1004, p=0,0037), blue (0,0692, p=0,0038) and green 0,1208, p=0,0086). The CIE chromaticity diagram shows changes of sward leaves color when plants grow in water stress and different concentration of KNO3 nutrients conditions.
