| Abstract [eng] |
This work deals with consolidation and strength features relationship in marginal glacial soils. Soil samples were taken from boreholes core. Boreholes were drilled in Nuclear Power Plant at used nuclear fuel storage facility. The results of test show that the classical laws of soil mechanics of strength dependence in moraine soils are correct in statistical level. Tests prove that strength of moraine loam is multifactor parameter. The strength of that kind of soil depends on quantity of clay particles, consistence and porosity decrease. Porosity decreases when vertical load rises. Therefore classical Coulomb-Navier-Mohr's equation is complicated. |
